I saw your post before the edit and followed the instructions. I have got it working on 2020.009.20063. I don't know if it matters or not but I only restarted after uninstalling from Revo and removing all files/registry keys detected with an advanced search. Adobe also asks to reboot after...
Same problem here. I uninstalled using revo and followed all instructions in the readme. But it again shows the adobe ID popup and just exits the application if the popup is closed.
