    Windows 11 Upgrade – Clean Install or In-Place? What’s Best in 2025?

    I have also done both. Seeing that I only keep the programs on my main drive and all info an doc's on my cloud storage a clean install is my preferred way to go. It allows me to weed out programs I don't use or use very little, and only install the programs that are of most important to me.

    Couldn't agree more. The only thing on my main drive is programs. Everything else is on external drives (home cloud) nothing ever goes on line to a cloud.
