Nope. Been there and done it all in five years and nothing resolves it. What you're referring to is simply changing output settings. This issue has nothing to do with settings.

I'm not sure how that is related or useful since I can't use Office at all, as I mentioned. It's blocked from use unless I activate it. I don't mind about popups if I can actually use it....

As I said it happens on every single computer that runs in Windows that I've had (4 of them now) so I don't think it matters what exact sound device it is.
