It still doesn't work unfortunately. Here is what I did:
- "Automatically install updates" are disabled under Preferences in Acrobat.
- Steps I took to block Acrobat with firewall:
Windows Security > Firewall & network protection > Allow an app through firewall > Change settings > deselect...
