Old habits are hard to break. I am trying to get away.from CMD and run Powershell. Granted neither one is worth diddly unless you can run them as a local administrator. I am not aware of any reason why you would prefer CMD. Opinions?

Why you want to switch?
I dunno. I am aware Powershell has access to more windows features, otherwise it has all od CMD features. CMD line was born in the lean Windows 98 DOS days (remember them?). I try to switch between them just to break old habits. Funny, Microsoft isn't on a big push to make people switch. I use CMD out of habit I suppose.

I still use CMD, there is a setting however to force you're computer to use Powershell I think I've seen it in Windows 11 64

CMD is like Linux Terminal for me, just works... But... But... I only use it when there is no other option for like Yum, rpms, .deb etc... Long live the self executable's

Hate 'Make' and having to go into SUDO

Could be laziness but I digress, I think more along the lines of My Asperger's & the curs'ed ADHD

I am a deflectionist
