downloading from file servers

Im having trouble downloading from file servers. I know how to do but whats the best software to use? I tried jdownloader and the download would get 90% done and disconnect and wouldnt allow a reconnect. Mipony has errors all the time so your download never is complete. I have 3 month premium with megaupload but dont understand download software I cant figure out how to open container on it. I try to download from lots of diffrent servers. Please help thanks.
