If you think graffiti is an eyesore, you probably won't be downloading Graffiti Art Windows 7 Theme from Windows7Theme. But if you see graffiti as art that reflects and enhances the urban streetscape, this free package of 10 high-resolution, high-quality desktop wallpaper images can do something much the same to your PC, without requiring a single can of spray paint. These 1,920x1,200-pixel wide-screen images celebrate the colorful chaos of graffiti art, and they're great, representative examples of the genre. As the name implies, Graffiti Art Windows 7 Theme is for Windows 7 systems.

The free theme packs from Windows7Theme install automatically and start their slideshow immediately, and Graffiti Art was no exception. As soon as the installer finished, the Control Panel's Personalization feature opened. Here we could make changes like unchecking images to remove them from the slideshow, changing how images fit, and setting the image interval. For some reason, the theme pack changed our Windows Sounds settings from No Sounds to Windows Default. It's easy enough to change back, but it's also a bit annoying to have to do so when the theme pack doesn't add its own sounds; it merely changes your settings.

The images in Graffiti Art Windows 7 Theme are amazing: Colorful, detailed, and inspired, they truly are works of art. One image depicts an alley, possibly in San Francisco, decorated in a psychedelic style that includes tributes to late cartoonist Vaughn Bode. Some are more mural-like, such as an incredible mustached face with window shutters for sunglasses. Even if you don't approve of graffiti as "public art," these high-res images can bring an explosion of bright colors to your desktop.
