I was wondering what do you use for sharing files (like episode from serie) with a friend or family ? Simple question

As long as it's not something funky, Google Drive is trusty. You should Use WinRar to compress, password protect and to obfuscate file names. Google Drive does not have all the limitations that the "free" file sharing sites have. After all most sites try to upsell you to paid accounts to eliminate their crippling limitations like the ones Hacxx post on here.

That's the beauty of WinRar. When you check the box to password protect the archive, a submenu appears check the box "Encrypt File Names". Obfuscate is a fancy name for the same process. It prevents archive scanning for known questionable file names.
