I have been looking for a local job. I used to get a number of offers right away. Now the economy is being managed by a someone who changes the rules every week or so. There is no logic or sane reasoning for all the rules and tariffs (a tax by any other name is just as bad, don't be fooled). Business has no idea how to proceed so no one is hiring and many are forced to lay off.
So rather than legit job offers I have been getting at least one scammer approaching me with possible employment. These folks are good and very sophisticated. I keep replying to them not to bother someone with IT experience, we know you are a fake, that's part of our job.
I am going to trash all my current contact information as soon as I get a new job, I have a couple of hopeful applications, however it's so bad according to recruiters they are getting over 100 applications for each decent job posting.
