Windows brings nostalgia to the holidays with the return of Windows Ugly Sweaters, this year featuring the Bliss backdrop

This holiday season, Windows is bringing a touch of nostalgia to its ugly sweaters by going back to the early 2000s in the Time of XP. This year’s sweater features the iconic Bliss backdrop from Windows XP, which is a photograph of a green hill and blue sky with white clouds in Sonoma County, California. This year, Windows is supporting The Nature Conservancy, an organization dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends. Learn more about how to support The Nature Conservancy’s initiatives to combat the climate and biodiversity crisis. Starting today, the #WindowsUglySweater featuring Bliss sweater will be available in limited quantities. To kick off this year’s Windows Ugly Sweater campaign, Windows will be hosting a Sweaterathon event on Instagram and TikTok on Nov. 28 from 9-10 a.m. PT (Pacific Time). The event revealing this year’s design will be set on a hand-crafted Bliss backdrop. The Sweaterathon will feature engaging edu-tainment, including Windows-specific trivia, a trip down memory lane, and opportunities to purchase the Windows Ugly Sweater.
