I have been with these folks for a long time. Shoot me I am loyal. Just upped to the latest paid edition of Webroot (hey they gotta eat too) and whammo TorGuard goes into an endless loop when invoking WireGuard protocols. This isn't the first time, same crap about 1 1/2 years ago. Well I guess we have hit the wall with these guys. There are so many reasons not to use them if you live in the US but this is the end. Sub runs out in 45 days and it's bye bye time.

A very good question. You know me, I will sniff out the best deal.
I have Privado that was tacked on with another subscription but their POPs are kinda odd so no rush.
I'll let the folks know what I come up with but it won't be Nord. Too many Nord subs, they have to be infiltrated by now. It's just too temping for law enforcement and the fu purposes some users perform with them. Kiddie pron is disgusting and all those mofos should be locked up or worse so I can't really complain that much.
Somebody smaller with unique high speed POPs I guess. TorGuard is fine but it seems writing their client is somebody's hobby there and they don't test it well before releasing it. They are secure for sure just a pain in the rear and no longer worth the bother to me.

OK well I am looking at Mullvad but thru a reseller, just a bit cheaper. $5/mo USD thru Malwarebytes or $4.99/mo USD thru Mozilla. It's € 5/mo directly from Mullvad which works out to $6.05/ mo.
That's a huge jump for me as I am locked into TorGuard @ $14.95/ 6 mo. Mullvad comes highly recommended however their popularity may be catching up with them. Don't look for any specials, that's how much it costs 365 24/7 according to their site.
You heard it here folks. Phooey on Nord.

Well I just re-upped another 6 months at TorGuard. $15 USD every 6 mo.
Yeah it's a clunky client but they are constantly improving it. It is a secure as all get out VPN. I can always find at least one POP that maxxes my line out, most usually do.
I just can't justify paying that much more. Heck my email (protonmail) is throwing in a VPN for free now as well as the freebie from my Usenet provider.
