Started on computers with DOS 3.0. Wanted to figure out what made computers work, so I started taking them apart and putting them back together. I spent 31 years with AT&T and worked everything from a cord board overseas operator all the way up to a Process Engineer where I wrote the M&P's (Methods and Procedures) on how to install fiber optic private line circuits.
After years of buying/using HP/Dell/etc., I just recently purchased 2 CCC (Cheap Chinese Crap) laptops off of Amazon. I partially disassembled them to check out the build of them and was impressed! Name brand equipment inside. Bonus was neither of them came with bloatware installed. The 2nd one I bought not only came with WPS, but also full blown MS Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 activated! They have been running daily for 3 & 4 months respectively without any issues.
