Can't install microsoft message queuing

Frankly I have never run directly into this service. A Solarwinds program I was attempting to install halted and failed because I expect it requires it to run. Any attempt to install from Windows features fails as the installer reports it can't find required files even though I had the Win 11 install disk mounted at the time. AFAIK MSQ is dependant on specific versions of .NET and is considered a minor security risk. Until now I have not been aware of any other software that has a dependancy on MSQ. Could someone here please let me know what is going on and why the instal problems?
