My name is Alan and I live in Arizona. In the past I was an electronic tech, mostly video and audio. I've been building desktop PCs, for myself and friends, since the late 80s. My main interest in PCs is how to build the best affordable ones. Hardware prices have surely gone up a bit since the 80s, but are still worth every penny I invest. I've used Windows since version 3.1 and have kept up to date since.
