If the files are that important, pay the ransom.
Then back up the files before you attempt to disinfect the affected system(s), however you know I feel about that. I would completely wipe the system disk(s) and reinstall the operating system and programs downloaded from a trusted source.

Especially messages for applications to allow permission or deny to access the net from the Firewall.
