Windows 10 not installing because my 7 ultimate isn't activated

Usually the downloaded Windows builds are only for fresh installs not for upgrades. I suggest you download an un-touched versions to do a upgrade otherwise they wont work. then when done us KMS to activate it when finished. You can also use KMS to activate the windows 7 then use a un-touched version to do the UPGRADE.

Windows 10 won’t upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate if it’s not activated. You’ll need to activate Windows 7 first or do a clean install of Windows 10. If you choose a clean install, make sure to back up your data and have a valid Windows 10 product key ready.

Backup all your "Need to be safed data" preferably to an off main drive partition.

Wipe the un actvated partition,

Download the Windows 10 installer that runs out of support in October this year (2025)

Install the windows 10.

As for keys and activators, theres plenty out there
