Much of a muchness but there is a simple way to get a LOCAL USER ACCOUNT to work without hacks in the registry.

1. Right Click on Start button

2. Select Settings

3. Select MENU icon on top bar.

4. Select Accounts

5. Go down to Other Users and click.

6. Click on Add Account

7. Wait for windows login to load, then click on "I dont have this persons sign in information."

8. On the next screen enter the new User name and a password if you want one and click next

9. On the next screen you will see the new User account. To give it an ADMINISTRATOR STATUS, click on it and selct Administrator in the window that opens in a nice Red colour just so you know WIndows 11 doesnt like this idea.

10. click next, all done.

To access your Local Account, click on Start and sign out of your windows account, the sign in using the LOCAL ACCOUNT Credentials.

To revert to the Microsoft looking over your shoulder account and reporting what you do back to Microsoft then log out of your local account and log back into the Microsoft account.

Hope this helps those that miss the fast login of Local Users
