Hi,
This issue usually happens when Windows gets the IP configuration wrong or when the DNS cache is corrupted.
Try the following steps — they fix this problem most of the time:

  1. Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run these commands one by one:

    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
  2. Then restart your PC.
  3. If it still says “No Internet, secured,” try disabling and re-enabling your Wi-Fi adapter or reinstalling it from Device Manager.
  4. Finally, make sure your network profile is set to Private and check if you have any VPNs or firewalls interfering.

Let us know if it works for you or if the issue remains.

Dear Joanneee i have try this too but stills same

Step 1: Reset network settings

Open PowerShell as Administrator and run these commands:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart your PC.

Step 2: Disable power saving for the Wi-Fi adapter

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters.
  3. Double-click your Wi-Fi card.
  4. Go to the Power Management tab.
  5. Uncheck:

“Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
  6. Click OK and restart.

Step 3: Set a manual IP address

  1. Go to Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network Connections.
  2. Right-click your Wi-Fi network → Properties.
  3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)Properties.
  4. Choose “Use the following IP address” and enter:

    IP address: 192.168.1.100
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
    DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1
Click OK and reconnect to Wi-Fi.

Step 4: Disable IPv6

  1. In the same Wi-Fi Properties window,
uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
  2. Click OK and restart your PC.

Step 5: Forget and reconnect the network

  1. Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks.
  2. Select your Wi-Fi → Forget.
  3. Reconnect and enter the password again.

You can also delete it via PowerShell:

netsh wlan delete profile name="YourWiFiName"

Step 6: Check VPN or Antivirus

Sometimes a VPN, proxy, or firewall causes this.
Try disabling them temporarily and check if the Internet works.

If it still doesn’t work, tell me:

  • your Windows version (e.g., Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11),
  • and the Wi-Fi adapter name (from Device Manager).

Then I’ll give you an exact fix for your device.

First of all, the internet thing.
What PC adapter is it or laptop?

Main things before starting using prompts that can be harmful to any PC is to make 100% sure that the drivers for the component are in place and correct.

Can you post the specs for the device and what its attached too please. Assumption is the way to errors.

GENERIC WIFI CONNECTION FIX.

Buy a USB Plugin WiFi unit. They are cheap and incredibly useful to have in your toolkit. They dont need to be expensive, after all WiFi is Wifi . With that plugged into your computer, be it mac or windows it will check that internals of the computer are able to accept WiFi.

Cuts out a nest of problems to start with, the issue you are having can be something like a Firewall port blocked, or some issue blocking the WiFi Identification ID in the prompt

Still awaiting data please.

Still awaiting data please.
If your device can see the WiFi networks but cannot connect, trying a USB WiFi adapter is a good first test.
It helps you check whether the issue is from the internal WiFi card, drivers, firewall, or system settings.

If the USB adapter connects successfully, then the issue is definitely with your internal WiFi card or its driver.

If the USB adapter also fails to connect, then the problem is likely:

  • Firewall blocking the connection
  • Wrong network authentication
  • Corrupted network settings
  • Router security settings
  • IP/DNS issues

Let me know what happens when you try the USB adapter — it will make troubleshooting a lot easier.
