In my experience, Windows 10 run without problems in a computer with a solid-state drive (SSD). However, if the computer has a hard disk drive (HDD), Windows 10 will run slow and installed programs will load and run slow.

I think many people could note that, but I don't find any link or source to support that.

Does anybody know any source or web page that recommend to install Windows 10 on a SSD and not on a HDD?

Windows 10 works much faster on an SSD than on an HDD. It starts up quickly and apps open in no time. If you want better speed, SSD is the way to go!

Windows 10 definitely runs faster on an SSD compared to an HDD due to quicker read/write speeds. Microsoft and many tech sites recommend installing Windows on an SSD for better performance and responsiveness. For official info, check Microsoft’s support pages or trusted tech reviews like Tom’s Hardware and PCMag. SSDs improve boot times, app loading, and overall system speed, while HDDs are slower and can bottleneck performance. So, installing Windows 10 on an SSD is widely advised for a smoother experience.
