I downloaded the .iso file for windows 11 and had it verified. I can't get the USB stick I created from it to boot, however. My attempts failed using both the Rufus utility on Windows and the analogous utilities on Linux Mint and Ubuntu. One clue about wat may be going wrong --- and something must be amiss because those USB boot sticks have never failed me before --- is that the file system Microsoft used for the DVD layout on this newest build is unique among its OS releases. I say that because during one failed attempt I got a fleeting popup error message that said something to the effect that this iso uses a 12XXX file system, which this program does not support. I don't remember the numbers in the 12XXX or which utility confessed why it failed. Any similar results, my friends? I'm getting tired of trying to do what in my old age has become routine and elementary and now has become just another burden, like my arthritis, low T, ED, COPD, MSNBC, and LMNOP.

Well Lenny you are dealing with a bootleg copy. Who knows exactly what Microsoft is up to and for that matter where that leaked ISO came from? I fail to see anything earth shattering in 11 not to mention MS official site starts going on about compatibility with programs, etc. I am sure there will be modifications of the ISO that will allow you to prepare and load with Rufus or similar very soon. (Nothing has hit and stuck to the torrents yet) [my bad, it's now posted] so there must be problems with the current source. In the meantime there is always NSAIDs for the pain, TRT, Blue Pills, quit smoking, I pretty much stopped following the news every moment of the day, and yeah you right "Look Man Not Our Problem".
Hang in there

You right. i think I'll Reintall Windows 3.1x alongside MSDOS running from my B drive. Now if only Tynenol would help me get a hardon again.

Well funny thing 3.1/DOS probably share more in common with command line Linux. Both never experienced some of the odd incompatibilities that latest versions on Windows. 16/32 bit was their biggest limitation but not for the hardware at the time. Sorry Tylenol isn't gonna put lead in your pencil. M/S is getting ready to do an advanced release of 11 to Insiders. Those copies might have a time bomb like the pre copies of Win 7 did.
