I used to work as a programmer and a teacher. Due to ever worsening fibryomalgia, which has magnified my CPTSD, I am now retired in my fifties. Luckily for me, I live in a welfare state which pays me disability benefits, not much but enough to survive. So, I guess I'm a lucky bastard after all.

I did join this forum a few years ago but wasn't very active, just a few posts. I can't remember my old username or password (lost my key manager some months ago, it was stored on a non-backuped external disk in a disk crash – yes, I agree, that is stupid).

So, nice to meet ya'all for the first time again :)

Well, welcome back gingola. I had a different trade than you but a similar story of my body failing early. Took me about 8 years of fighting with the government that I paid taxes to for 25 years to get a disability.
Yup should have had a backup. I have had nothing but bad luck out of external drives. I have an 8TB Seagate external HDD in the mail for the second replacement right now. Thank God it's still under warranty.

Thanks for the welcome, Hotrod369. Let's hope that our internal lives and external drives are going to work better from now on.
