I've been using Tumper, ThumperDC, and ThumperTM WinXX and apps since the very first uploads and torrents. A few years ago I made a mistake when I deviated and tried a different distro that did something to the UEFI, and whatever that something was I unfortunately couldn't undo. It believe it was some kind of modded Black Lotus Virus that manipulated the UEFI firmware in a way that all forms of CMOS reset were not able to unbrick the board. Long story short, somebody cooked a Lotus virus into an ISO and I used that ISO to brick a perfectly good system.
I primarily use Rufus with the Thumper ISO images and I use an older popular Dev version of Win11.
I'm very out-of-touch with NLite and cooking any of the newer Win Versions.
I haven't used NLite since the WinXP days. Back when the cooked installer had menus containing all the latest software, XPblack was everywhere, and people even made distros where the installer could surf on portable Firefox while the OS was being installed in the background.
I'm here to do some learning and see if I can find a newer 24H2 based Thumper release that has Office already installed. The older I get, the lazier I get. So I suppose I'm looking for the latest loafer version that I can leave on a USB drive until whenever Win12 gets forced on everyone.
Glad to be here! Bork! Bork! Bork!
