Microsoft confirmed security updates for Windows 10 would be extended to 12 October 2027.
Seems Microsoft is blocking or stopped security updates for Windows 10
I tried many times to update.
Seems again, Microsoft is encouraging or pressuring me to install Windows 11.
Any feedback, either negative or positive will be very much appreciated.

Im hearing rumours in the background that due to the overwhelming popularity of Windows 10 v Windows 11 that the system in use today being WIndows 10 and companies are reluctant to change due to variations that dont so a thing for their older machines.
I have tried updates on a few systems in my employ and have ended up reverting back to Windows 10 due to incompatability and interfacing issues.
As such rumours are that the support in Windows 10 for Businesses and Companies is to continue until at least 2030. The overall issues being the TPM security. Which in itself is a chip on a board. I cant recall there being any massive updates for the newer software or platform for the 2.1 version. Problem in this being users are reluctant to having to buy the software then find out TPM doesnt support their new fancy software package.
Bring back WIndows 7

The Windows 11 scam was concocted by Microsoft to force sales of new systems with the TPM chip. First TPM (a Microsoft invention) has been around since Win 8 days. Nobody got excited by it including the manufacturers. Then something funny took place. Users were riding all the free upgrades to Win 10 which in effect made most modern systems current to Win 10. Then something odd happened. Outside of gamers, no one was upgrading their current hardware. Why? Because the systems all had enough power to run Win 10 safely and smoothly. So the hardware manufacturers began crying they were starving.
The answer was 2 fold. Microsoft added a bunch of lipstick to Win 10, called it Win 11 and here's the slimy part. EOL'd Win 10 and unless you had really new systems, you needed to buy a new system with the current TPM chip or even though you had plenty of resource on your current system, you couldn't load Win 11.
So everyone lost it. Microsoft is still trying to emerge from the mess they created. It's created a renewed interest in Linux, and people intend to hold onto Win 10. Since 3rd party Internet browsers can keep you browsing secure, in effect you really don't have to run to Win 11.
So let's see how Microsoft saves face with the Win 11 debacle. Stay tuned.

Always remember back in the day, 1999 ish, Microsoft gave everyone bugs that came from their server, and then they sold you a giant spyware removal app to get rid of them. Back then everyone hammered the mucrosoft server with attacks until they removed the bugs they created. I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET THAT MICROSOFT and believe they still use these unprofessional tactics to generate revenue.

Download the Latest RUFUS, get the latest Windows 11 iso from Microsoft, Youl need a 16GB USB drive, run rufus and remove all the BS that MS doesnt like and put Windows 11 onto anything. I installed it on my old Asus K55 Laptop from 2016, no issues at all

MR DOG, how can you be so bold to tell God hes a scam artist?

We all know the ins and outs of Microsoft and from what I have seen since the Birth of NT4 and various progressions of same, is just to make money by change. What does a new model of your exisiting Car do more than your car, its gets you from where you are to where you want to be. It carrys you and others on that journey, it can carry goods on that journey, Ah but the new one forces me to entrap myself to that new model in a finance agreement I cant afford and I drive a car programmed to self destruct aft XXXXX.XX miles.

Surely this cant be so ? Simple screw ups, take my car for example, it is fitted with a new Cabelt system, a WET one, WHY ? so it goes wrong easier, it requires a Garage to fit it and properly replace it. Whats the difference, it costs you more to drive it and use it, BUT there is a dry belt that fits the car and if the wet system is closed off runs the car just as well, but doesnt need a garage to change it.

Of course Microsoft will insist on updating their Software to a newer and fancier version, how else did Bill Gates and others make enough for these mansions of power they live in.

To be fair and honest is above their being and status, so long as the shares stay high who cares why or how.

AND

The really wonderul thing is that with very little modification Win NT 4 from a time when I had hair and my toe nails didnt require bolt croppers to cut, this old system works fine on most laptops and Desktops. The olnly main issues being the need for memory handling and various display drivers. Even our Royal Air Force up until last year were still using Windows 2000 Pro.

Breathe a sigh of relief and go dip your toe in the world of LINUX its GUI (Graphics User Interface, for those who hate abreviations) is now very Windows esc to aid in the transition. Programmikng can be used in a similar vein to Windows / DOS. DOS lol Ive been wondering if WIndows can survive without DOS.

As for EOL (End of Life) I agree they tried, but having said that I still have Windows 7, Windows XP, WIndows ME and a couple of other variants in Laptops and some towers that still work and run from beyond the Grave. Windows isnt dead, it just smells a bit funny
