Trouble Installing Lightroom Classic for Windows from PirateBay – Subscription Issue

Hey,

I grabbed a copy of Adobe Lightroom Classic 2023 from Piartebay, but I’m running into some problems during installation. The instructions included with the download are vague and need more in depth instrctions, and when I try to install it, the setup redirects me to the original developer’s site, pushing for a subscription instead of activating properly.

I’ve checked for hidden files, and possible workarounds, but it seems like the installer is phoning home before completing the process. Has anyone else run into this? Am I missing a specific patch? Any help would be appreciated.

Normally to get registered programs you switch the main executable or dlls with cracked ones. Check if you have or not that on your installer folder. Also crack files can be blacklisted with your antivirus. Check av vault.
 
Or as is the case with some of these downloads, they pretend they have craked it, stick any old junk in there and write total dribble to make it look good for their matez.

And of course what Thumper and Hacxx said is valid across the board.
 
Where can we find a newer version ? Can you give us a link or tell us wherer to find it, because we don't know all these tricks

Maybe having the same issue.
Downloaded the program from tpb and after some time I cannot open it anymore because I'm receiving some message in red line. Shut down the program and don't know where to download different version without any issues with forcing to subscribe.

I'm trying to install the lightroom from piratebay and when I try runnung the Set-up.exe file it says the file may be damaged and i need to install it again.
 
Hey, back here again, when i run the patched lightroom an add pops up that the app is disabed because of my subscription and it only works when i disable the internet connection on my pc, but then i dont have acces to my wifi. Is there a way to make it work without turning off the internet?
 
To block Lightroom in the Windows Firewall, open the Windows Settings app, go to "Network & internet," then "Advanced network settings," and select "Windows Firewall." Create a new outbound rule for the Lightroom executable to block its connection.


Steps to Block Lightroom in Windows Firewall​

To effectively block Lightroom from accessing the internet using Windows Firewall, follow these steps:

Access Windows Firewall Settings​

  1. Open the Windows Settings app.
  2. Navigate to Network & internet.
  3. Click on Advanced network settings.
  4. Select Windows Firewall.

Create a New Outbound Rule​

  1. In the Windows Firewall window, click on Advanced settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Outbound Rules.
  3. Click on New Rule in the right sidebar.
  4. Choose Program and click Next.
  5. Browse to the location of the Lightroom executable file and select it.
  6. Click Next and choose Block the connection.
  7. Click Next again and ensure all three profiles (Domain, Private, Public) are selected.
  8. Fill in a name for the rule (e.g., "Block Lightroom") and click Finish.

Confirm the Rule​

  • After creating the rule, ensure it appears in the list of outbound rules. This will prevent Lightroom from accessing the internet while allowing you to use the application offline.
By following these steps, you can successfully block Lightroom from connecting to the internet on your Windows system.
 
It is ineffective. You must have a firewall that blocks Adobe from going online in real time - FOREVER. Only node.js can go online and nothing else.

I'm using eset so windows defender is turned off, i tried doing the same but in eset, just selected the lightroom.exe into the internet blocked apps and it didnt work the popu showed again. any other ideas or tools to make it work?

For now. Adobe products are really sneaky, they regularly change how they call home. I suspect there may be time bomb deeply embedded in the code. They pop-up like flies. This is why the crew here at the forum have grown to love Adobe so well. :( You can download and install a current working version, works for a while, sometimes it will start nagging you first and then BOOM, it's gone.
I have a system setup basically just to run Photoshop, doesn't see the Internet anymore. When I am done with the project, I'll open it back up again. Let's see what happens. I already have a clean backup if it craps out and that's OK.
