I followed the steps to the letter but as soon as I open a file the program tells me I got 10 days to activate no matter what I do.

I've disabled services for Adobe, Unplugged my Ethernet cord, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've used the ' Uninstall tool ' app which even deletes registry stuff, I've tried everything and nothing is working.

Are we just screwed for using Adobe products for free?

Any help would be appreciated because I been stuck on this for 2 weeks now, I really didn't want to come here and bother you guys with this but I'm stuck and I feel lost guys.

Looks like we might all have to start paying for Adobe products. for the past 25 years or more we got by lucky, now they want their money. Wouldn't you? I am sure there is a fix being worked on.

Same issue. Seems like Adobe is winning the war at the moment. Hopefully our side hits back soon.

For anyone interested: What worked for me, is blocking in firewall ALL executables in Adobe installation folders.
I am not sure which one was it and how it was communicating, sorry i dont know much about theese things :)
This is it. This works:

I've said it a hundred times, you need to block Adobe with a real-time firewall. NOTHING should go on the internet. If only one has gone through the network, you will need to reinstall the system.

BTW now everyone in the forum knows your copy of Photoshop is fake.

portmaster is a pretty cool firewall stops microsoft spyware in its tracks and it will see Adobe trying to get out and you can block it with one click
I just installed this firewall. I like the fact that it gives you real time data of what's being blocked. Let's see what it considers shady behavior and how the program deals with it. It's probably configurable around any issues it may cause. For a while firewalls weren't that important, host files could handle most issues. I haven't had any firewall issues other than Windows firewall is a pain in the butt to configure. We shall see......

i am starting to have second thoughts about Portmaster. It decided all of a sudden to block all traffic to my NAS which has been a trusted part of my LAN since who knows when. I spent a few seconds trying to figure out what it was doing and it isn't apparent. I manually tried to make it trusted but still didn't work. I play with it when I have more time but it shoudn't be that difficult.
