Personally I go looking for crash logs and error message in caches. Bring back Dr Watson, that little code was awesome to use and have running really miss that. Can anyone recommend any free tools for diagnosing BSODs (Blue Screen of Death) and other system issues?
Hi, I'm a computer technician and I speak from personal experience with various desktop and laptop products. Lately, due to the disastrous W11 updates, I've had several problems (BOSD, sudden freezes on various apps, and even freezes on startup). In most cases, I resolved them by updating the SSD firmware, especially since the problem occurred unexpectedly, on various applications, and even after reinstalling the OS.Can anyone recommend any free tools for diagnosing BSODs (Blue Screen of Death) and other system issues?
AI isnt Intelligent, never has been never will be.I'm sure the OP appreciates Diguelo's assistance. I would.
My main point is that working with Ai turns into a conversation that is easily steered in realtime. At every step you can say "clarify" "slow down I didn't understand" "How do I do that". Even "write me a script to do that." Writing to forums is slow.
Just saw a video about how authors of tech and help books are losing sales because the AI can or has read all those books, and the questioner gets the synthesis now.
Usually, when I have these kinds of problems, I check for BIOS updates and then go to the SSD manufacturer's page.Nice. I only ever did that once to recover data off an old platter drive from Maxtor, the thing had got corrupted somehow.
Never heard of SSD being upgraded after release though, but many thanks for the advice. All information including instructions on how to complete this would be appreciated for our records along with the make and model of the SSD in question. If this has happened on one fo the drives it is likely to occur on other of the same make and model.
Your help in this would be appreciated and gratefully received
