Did I ask for AI, erm NO !!!
DID I GET AN EMAIL SAYING IT WAS GOING TO TAKE OVER MY PC NO !!!!!

So guys from now on it looks like they are going to sneek AI into your system as soon as possible on all platforms, so far I have seen this on my personal ASUS in my signature and on ASUS Prime MB so far.

Any Bios update following the summer of 2026 now has AI in it like it or not. It has disabled my XMP on my memory so its slowed things down. Removed a ton of settings out of my BIOS no doubt so AI can run it oh so much better. Yep well my bios is having a roll back to the previous one tomorrow

And just for good measure Ive gone back in the BIOS files till January this year and ALL of them now have AI this that and the other, no more XMP, no more swapping of boot devices Miffed is a good word.

Ever since ASUS pulled the they not honoring their system board warranties, ASUS is not on my preferred list. When I managed the repair facilities, we ran into a pantload of failed ASUS mainboards with swollen electrolytic capacitors.
In case you don't remember or too young to have experienced it. ---> Capacitor plague <---
Almost every board and computer manufacturer replaced their equipment that failed as a result of these cap failures EXCEPT ASUS. ASUS stance was "We didn't make those capacitors that failed. If there was a problem with our ASUS board, take it up with the capacitor manufacturer" and as a result REFUSED to honor the warranty they had on their hardware.

ASUS Warranty record
So as they say, Fool me once, shame on you.Fool me twice, shame on me.". As a result I wll never ever buy or recommend ASUS products. There are many as good or better alternatives available from honorable manufacturers.
