AUDIO KEEPS TURNING OFF ON ITS OWN.

Ok, thinking caps on please.

My system named below on this post keeps turning its own Audio off. No particular reason, listening to music, watching a film, streaming off Netflix, using VLC using web browser link, using Whatsapp, no particular cue point or trigger.

Output device is set to Headphones. (Default)
Speaker system is plugged into the GREEN Jack on the back of the motherboard.

YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, TELL ME HOW I WOULD DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE AND TRACK WHY IT KEEPS TURNING OFF.

This ticket is open to everyone. Not just the pros. Everyone can join in. We are coming out of the Winter now in the UK and homes are opening doors and windows to let in the fresh spring air. Nobody is here to laugh at you or poke fun. This is just a simple "How I would do it"

Post what you would do and how you would diagnose the cause, problem, fix.

Each post I will follow your reasoning and suggestions and post the effect on my system. I will also post the actual reason this happened and why.

FIND THE CURE !!!!!

***** THE POINT OF THIS *****

A common problem on systems, Laptops, Desktops and Amplifiers. Apart from an excersize in working the grey matter in your headand thinking not just inside the box but outside too.

Assume in this situation that my PC Desktop is using the onboard sound system on the Motherboard. If you need to know the type it is a RealTek With USB Audio capable and is being used on here as input to a 2000W Digital Amplifier on my desk and that goes into 2 x 200W Speakers. Nominal daily output 5 - 8 Watts

Erm am I the only one here does repairs. your not going to break copyright by replying.

OK my thought is you are not plugging an amplifier which produces a small output to power a passive device with a nominal 8 ohm resistance which is what you have set the system to see at that output. Instead you are feeding the expected headphone output to the input side of a 2000W digital amplifier which typically should be connected to an aux. output. Based on that is it possible that whatever software is controlling the audio signal is polling the codec and rejecting the connection because it's non-compliant with expectations. Normally I rely on either a digital output or even better an optical out. That would require an additional sound card.
Alternatively Windows 10 and more so 11 seem to have created problems for on-board sound. Realtek sound codecs seemed to have big problems with timing interference with the CPU off dealing with other tasks when audio processing requires no interruptions. Even before the audio is sent to the codec for processing it is essential it is a non-interrupted stream, which results in Windows diverting audio to a buffer and results in audio losing sync with video. Since there are many different sources of audio and post processing (mp3 for example), Windows must have a whole bunch of routines that all need to work perfectly. A sound card is like a graphics card for audio and takes the load of the CPU.
I know this is pretty simple stuff for you D., but since no one has jumped in, these are my thoughts.

Simple solution? Get a sound card in so many words. On-board Realtek codec solutions are a cheap solution that do a half-assed job that save money. Realtek's site shows they have very little support and dump it on the OEM. Any audiophile would agree.
