Ok, thinking caps on please.
My system named below on this post keeps turning its own Audio off. No particular reason, listening to music, watching a film, streaming off Netflix, using VLC using web browser link, using Whatsapp, no particular cue point or trigger.
Output device is set to Headphones. (Default)
Speaker system is plugged into the GREEN Jack on the back of the motherboard.
YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, TELL ME HOW I WOULD DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE AND TRACK WHY IT KEEPS TURNING OFF.
This ticket is open to everyone. Not just the pros. Everyone can join in. We are coming out of the Winter now in the UK and homes are opening doors and windows to let in the fresh spring air. Nobody is here to laugh at you or poke fun. This is just a simple "How I would do it"
Post what you would do and how you would diagnose the cause, problem, fix.
Each post I will follow your reasoning and suggestions and post the effect on my system. I will also post the actual reason this happened and why.
FIND THE CURE !!!!!
***** THE POINT OF THIS *****
A common problem on systems, Laptops, Desktops and Amplifiers. Apart from an excersize in working the grey matter in your headand thinking not just inside the box but outside too.
Assume in this situation that my PC Desktop is using the onboard sound system on the Motherboard. If you need to know the type it is a RealTek With USB Audio capable and is being used on here as input to a 2000W Digital Amplifier on my desk and that goes into 2 x 200W Speakers. Nominal daily output 5 - 8 Watts
