I've been running across some software downloads that the cracks contain not only the real crack, the readme!! files warn you to run the additional crack "The Fix".
Just don't install The Fix and apply the real crack. It's bullshit that some assh*les poison someone's real work to hijack the computer it's installed on.
Be wary of these 2 part cracks. Unfortunately virustotal doesn't flag this hijack yet. If installed the payload is delivered under restart. You will notice an entry "The Fix" in startup programs. This triggers the install of a random named .vbs script which installs the hijack. Be wary of any 2 part cracks esp. if one is an .exe.
