Ecosia: A non US based search engine

There's a new sheriff in town. It has been described as the EU's way of breaking free from the bonds of US based search results. They seem on the up and up and support a darn good cause. I am a degreed biologist with field experience. I am convinced the only way to "fix" climate change is to put the CO2 back to where we found it, in organic compounds produced by plants photosynthesis. Isn't that how the Earth cooled off originally?

I already use Yandex.ru and Baidu.cn as a way to get results from non US based search engine but I will look into Ecosia. Using photosynthesis to return CO2 to organic compounds is a logical approach. Supporting reforestation aligns with that method.
