Hello. I deleted files from my laptop by mistake. I maged to recover the files but they can't open. I get an error message that "open failed. Unsupported file format"
Any help to open the files will be appreciated.

Welcome @Wilsoft

In cases like this, the recovered file may have no file type at the end

Example a text file will have .txt at the end of the file name so you may have to add the file type at the end.

Another option is to rename the file with the file type at the end. Look up the file recovery app you are using and search the issue with the app's name

example

Recuva recovery results are showing an error Unsupported file format FIX

and you should see results with the FIX or you can use the word solved at the end of the search
