Only pulling a leg.....or two .

I had great disdain for Windows 10 in the early days of its release; so much so I left it alone in disgust and moved on to Linux instead. It was a head f***k to start off with, but six or more years later its now second nature.

I got around to building another system recently and thought I should try Windows 10 again. Wow! Such an improvement.

I'm not here to extol the virtues of Linux (well, I might if I'm pushed), but I am interested in tweaks and not-what, as I loved the dexterity of Windows 98, XP & 7.

Now it seems W10 can be tamed for the better and there are a few programmes for it that are indispensable. The alternatives have really difficult learning curves on a Linux machine. Gimp for one.

Any way, this site certainly looks interesting and a long way off the old Thumper site, which reminded me of another one..............CC or something.
