You have to admit, what you are doing can be fun once you get comfortable and get some cred.
One thing I have found over the years is almost every company's network has it's own spin to it.
You are going to need some patience. You always encounter the user who's job relies on their computer and when they can't use it, it's all on you and they can get quite angry and even abusive. Just learn your stuff don't get involved in a pissing match and your boss will understand and appreciate you.
The cool thing is you will learn things no textbook can teach you, that's how you become a real expert. If you have any questions, bring them to the forum. There are a bunch of seasoned experts here that are happy to lend a hand. Glad you found the forum Ping. Enjoy.
