How can I fix a When Correction error?
1. Disable overclock in BIOS

Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
Go to Update and Security.

Navigate to the Recovery tab. In Advanced Startup, click Restart Now.

On Advanced Startup, go to Troubleshooting, then go to Advanced Options.

Select UEFI Firmware Settings. Click Restart.
After the computer restarts, it will automatically open the BIOS, so go to the Advanced tab.
Navigate to the display and watch for overclocking.

Make sure overclocking is disabled.
Save changes to the BIOS (by pressing F10 on your keyboard), and restart your computer normally.

Overclocking can cause a correction error, so if you are using overclocking software, be sure to disable it.

2. Check if there is a hardware problem
Press Windows Key + X and select Windows PowerShell (admin).

Now run the following command: chkdsk / f C:

Press Y to schedule a restart.
Restart your PC and wait for the scan to finish.
When correction error is often caused by SSD issues so we suggest using specialized BSOD repair software like Restore to fix it.

3. Run Windows Memory Diagnostics
Press Windows Key + S and type memory. Select Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Select Restart now and check for problems.

If you find a stop along the way, such as checking a hard drive with errors, try replacing the memory.
If you suspect that there is an additional problem with the hardware, we suggest using hardware diagnostic software to find the cause.

4. Update your drivers
Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.

Find the driver you think is causing the problem, right-click on it and select the update driver.

Automatically select a search for drivers and wait for the process to finish.

Repeat this for all drivers you hold responsible for this problem.
Drivers cannot repair BSOD wheels so it is important to keep them up to date.

Manually updating drivers can be a tedious process, especially if you need to update many of them, but you can speed up the process by using driver update software.

6. Uninstall the problematic Windows Update
Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
Now go to the Update and Security section.

Click View Update History.

Now click on Uninstall Updates.

A list of updates will now appear.

Double click on a specific update to remove it.

7. Disable the Turbo Boost feature in the BIOS
Restart your PC and press F2 to enter the BIOS.
After entering it, look at the Turbo Boost option.
Disable it and save changes.

8. Disable additional audio devices
Press Windows Key + S and enter the sound. Now select Change System Sound.

When the Sound window opens, go to the Playback tab. Right-click on each non-default audio device and select Disable.
Repeat the same steps for all recording devices.
After that, apply to save the changes and click OK.
Some users are also recommending disabling additional audio devices from Device Manager. To do this, follow these steps:

Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.

Find your audio devices and disable all devices except your default device.
To disable a device, just right-click on it and select Disable device from the menu.
