I can't take it anymore. I have been reading "fixes", yet none really are. I was used to adding commands, etc. to explorer, well where the heck is that toolbar? Where is this menu in Win 11? One step forward, two steps back.

Hark, I near echoes of my voice rippling around the forum.

Adding commands to a system used to be far easier using the reg hacks system.

Find you fave menu and add to it in the registry. Ive got a couple of quick edits i add to mine, like Notepad++ replaces New Text File

Ok so the updates get rid of them, but I persevere and wrote a program to add them back after each update.

Use the registry editor Mr Dog you achieve Greatness my young Padawan, lol

One thing the updates do bring is an influx of poorly edited code that preempts the next update to get rid of said code, this has been going on with MS since the 95 release

Quote from Gemini (disclaimer)
Open "Run" via the Start menu and
type "regedit" in the search box.
Go to the "ContextMenuHandlers" folder, right click on it, and hover over the "New" option. Then, select "Key" to create a subkey. From there, you can adjust the default values of the sub key.

At this point the AI stops as it has been told too.

A swift browse in YouTube shouold coma up with some of the answers as well as pointers you need to think about.
