Question:
This code queries " HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options", if I am not mistaken.
So where is the database of what's good and what's bad stored?
Why is it necessary to enable writing to the registry? Does this code make registry changes then?
