Is Microsoft Snooping Around My System?

I was doing a bit of computer housecleaning last nite and found something odd.
I don't use nor had I willingly opened Edge, yet I find 7 instances of it running in the task manager.
Hmmm...
So I download Autoruns by systernals and take a look at the start-up list and not only do I find all these instances of Edge, I find several instances of OneDrive which I never use AND this system is not linked to a Microsoft account.
I can't shake the feeling MS is looking over my shoulder. As a result from Autoruns I delete all listings for Edge, CoPilot and OneDrive.
So not only do I feel a bit more private, I have noticed a performance increase. If what I think about MS is true, shame on them. I am sure buried deep inside all the lenghty disclaimers you agree to during install, MS has covered their legal butt.
BTW Edge is at the top of my untrustworthy list.
No wonder Bill Gates now owns virtually all the potato farms that supply McDonalds french fries (true) and stepped away from Microsoft.

Who cares!
Do you really think Microsoft left the whole world just to spy on you specifically? haha
These background processes run on every Windows machine — it's just how the system works, nothing personal.

Edge and OneDrive are always re-activated during updates and pretty much forced by Windows. I turn them off and remove from startup but as stated an update will force and tun them back on in the startup.

Maybe some day someone will create a system without all this BLOAT or unnecessary stuff, what a day that would be.

Does the Sun come up in the morning, there you have your answer.

So how does this monstrosity of a global empire snoop on your PC. Well for a start, "Did you click the inoccuous button that says, Do you want to let Microsft have a copy of your data to make Windows Better?"

Go on be honest.

Welllllllllll.............

Then of course there is the Co SNooper, I mean Co Pilot that of course doesnt return any data what so ever to Microsoft, nor does it pass on your Browsing data to the advert engine. HMMMMM

Then of course there is the wonderful Browser Micrsoft EDGE, this of course doesnt do the same as Co Snaooper I mean COPilot, that sticks all your browsing data as well as your machines data and of course your name address and every other piece of important data you have used it for online banking.

Now here comes the best part, ONEDRIVE yes we have all heard of it the online repository for all your backup data sat there to be easily browsed by Microsoft who made the encryption engine in the first place, but of course they dont know how to decrypt it that can only be done by you on your pc,

YEAH RIGHT........

Then of course there is Microsoft Office 365 the lovely collection of data management software we all use every day and of course it lets Microsoft know exactly whats being typed and entered into each one as part of the "Share you data to help improve Microsoft Office 365".

Then of course the root of the matter is the main windows engine talks to MS every few minutes with its necessary data burst of "Oh they did this and they did that and you should see what they put about you in the .........."

I could go on, but im due to retire in a few years and id like to have some fingers left to type with byu then.

If you want to see what and who is connected to your PC or laptop, try using GLASSWIRE, it makes spying on the spies a lot easier and informs you of what and where they have access, so you can block them with a firewall.

All of these things can be permanently disabled in Local Group Policy (gpedit.msc).. just saying!
Mr. Bill Gates ain't gonna come knockin on your door, he's too busy spending your hard earned dollars.
