So far my favorite. On sale at Amazon: 15 bucks for 1 year. If there's one item I would never trust a cracked version, heck this is your last defense. You can shut this off when need be, freaking Bitdefender, no way. You have to uninstall it to get it to stop blocking cracks. I learned my lesson. Kaspersky doesn't bug the heck out of you either. Just a thought.
Amazon link. It will expire so don't blame me.

yes, you are absolutely correct. Earlier I was a big fan of Bit defender but was facing the same issue wrt crack. Then I shifted to Kaspersky and I haven't face such issue.
I really like Kaspersky.
BTW what do you think is the best version of it: Normal Antivirus, Internet Security or Total Security.
Personally I prefer Total Security.
On Amazon we get 3yr subscription for 1 device at 900Rs which boils down to 11$, which is a steal.

That's the best part when you can catch a good deal on an A/V program you like.
Right now I am using up a bargain buy of MalwareBytes. I like it however it's not the favorite of some senior members of this board. I will say it's come a long way in the past 6 months or so.

Interesting. How much would you bet the products they list in the article all end up to links where they all of their recommendations get big affiliate pay? The whole A/V business is not so good. I see where Surf Shield makes their list. Come on now! Even though that's my current VPN provider I highly doubt their A/V is worth beans. In fact their entire list is suspect to me. I would trust half of the products on that list.

Kaspersky Total Security is a solid choice, especially for reliable protection across multiple devices. However, keep in mind that sharing Amazon links might not work well here since many users prefer pirated versions and may avoid official sources. Still, it’s great you recommend investing in genuine software for security—definitely safer than cracked versions.

I have Bitdefender Internet Security Installed, specifically because it has the Firewall Option.
I have attached a link from Bitdefender website on how to exclude files and folders from Bitdefender Antivirus scan.

Ever run into even though you whitelist a file on your installed A/V and Microsoft Defender still flags it even it's supposed to be dormant? Usually it has to do with a crack for Microsoft products but not exclusively. It comes to the point where you have to disable your A/V which auto reactivates Defender. Then you have to open Defender's security dashboard and even though it may say Defender is disabled, you still have to open Virus and Threat Detection. You then you have to click on Virus and Threat Detection settings and move the slider to the left on Real-time protection.
Whew!
