Looking for my Windows XP Product key.

Hey Thumper and friends. I am having a little trouble with my desktop. When I turn it on, there is a little box at the bottom right of the screen saying, "this is not an authentic copy of windows". And it asks me for the product key. Whenever I put it in, it says it is not the correct product key. My taskbar has disappeared, and all of my desktop icons are gone too. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
