Not sure what email protocol you are using. Sounds like a misconfiguration of inbound email. Depends entirely on what email provider you are encountering the problem. Since you can send emails it can't be that bi of a problem
If its outlook.com youll have to check the protocols help on the outlook page. If I recall they did a port move on SSL a while back that may be why its messed up.
