Hi everyone. I just installed the photoshop 26. I was hoping to use the Ai models under camera raw for reflections and dust. It say unable to download the AI model when I try those. Is there a workaround for these at all?

AI is in rebuild mode last I heard, I personally hate the thing.

If you check the NEWS feed on Adobe.com theres a number of articles to read regarding the issues. So far Artificial Interference isnt working well on all fronts.

Im not really looking for the generative ai they have. Thats always been bad. Otherwise would have been no problem staying with version I had. I know the model downloads locally and was hoping it came with the torrent install. Im not sure how to get the models over and if so if it would function just extracting from a normal build and copying over to install folder.

edit: ive talked to a couple people with the latest that works on jpeg they didnt have issues with it. But its not worth me purchasing a license for that.

Im not a huge fan of Photoshop, I use Corel Paintshop Pro, been my go to Paint package since 2006, all I can suggets is that you have abrowse through the programs to see what other difficulties people have had. As for reflection removal, have a look at the Ray Tracing people do using it

Here are some quick fixes for the “unable to download AI model” error in Adobe Photoshop (Camera Raw AI models) that you can try:

---

1. Make sure your Photoshop is updated to the latest version.
2. Go to **Edit → Preferences → Camera Raw Preferences** in Photoshop, and try resetting the Camera Raw settings. ([Adobe Community][1])
3. Download and install the latest version of the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in manually (via Adobe’s website) and restart Photoshop. ([Adobe Help Center][2])
4. Make sure your internet connection and firewall/proxy settings allow Adobe to download models — sometimes corporate networks block them.
5. If nothing else works, uninstall Camera Raw / reset Photoshop, then reinstall. ([Adobe Help Center][3])

If you are using a "unoficial" version of Photoshop, you will not be able to use any of they AI resources...
