PIIQ File removal

I Googled "what is a PIIQ File" and it came up that it is a Ransomware virus. Sounds like this person might have gotten themself into trouble by being infected by ransomware.
 
My best advice would be to head over to the bleeping computer forums. They do their best to stay on top of this crap. There are some tools that allegedly decrypt file encoded by PIIQ but I have no idea if they work. I have been studying how you get infected by these, kind of interesting.
Here's another good reason why you should back your stuff up to a non volatile source and keep the files read only and away from the Internet.
