Just a suggestion but any post moved to trash should be locked. This way members can't make comments or get confused that the post is still active. Or we should quit moving posts to the trash and just straight delete them. Less hassle this way and it removes it out of the database which in the long run will free up server space.

So you bro mean to delete from site dead posts?
 
yes thumper this is what i mean. no use keeping them around when when the links are dead.
