Premiere Pro 2017, using Essential Graphic Templates

Dear @ThumperDC/Techtools people,

You can't edit existing templates in for example Essential Graphics? I wanted to edit a Lower Third but it doesn't show up in my screen once I place it in my timeline and I can't edit it as well in the Essential Graphics panel...
