Windows 10 2022 Update | Version 22H2

The final ISO file download is available through Microsoft. Personally I will have this one written to a BluRay disc and seconded away like other great (coughs loudly) Operating Systems for future reference and older machinery.

Support for Win 10 is dying and will eventually cease to be. From that point on every college kid and muppet with a laptop with plot or a cause is going to be breaching all the security on the system there is. Sad but a fact. MS will be in the "Why should we care "Phase again like with the Windows 7 /8 / 10 swap.

So lay to rest Windows 10, be at peace and dont be surprised to have your bones and root picked clean for every unsolved exploit.

An additional word or two of warning, with this will see the end of support for 3rd Party Protection software, Anti Virus, Malware etc. So

Windows 10 itself will continue to operate as normal, but no more support or updates will be issued after the 14th October 2025.

Still you can look forward to the next huge thing on the Horizon windows XII, hows it going to be different, erm "It will have 12 on the box this year." (Quote from Tron: LEGACY)

Once Windows 10 support ends on October 14, 2025, users can still receive security updates and patches—but only by enrolling in the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, which is a paid service provided by Microsoft.

More information is available in below stated links:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/extended-security-updates
https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/extended-security-updates?r=1

However, users who wish to continue receiving Windows 10 with security updates and patches without paying can visit: https://massgrave.dev/

There, they can make use of ESU under the TSForge activation mode.

Regards

See now theres something which is almost saying "Look we made a reasonable OS here and we dont want to pay anyone on company time to keep it up and running"

Will I be paying for security updates, hmm, nope

Windows 10 22H2 is as far as its going, as for third party upgrades. Lot of work and little rewards.

I have a copy of Windows 7 Enterprise x64 I keep alive to remember things.

According to an insider source I have at MS, the LAST version of Windows 10 22H2 downloadable ISO is online as of today.

I have mine seconded away in my DVD archive.
