unable change desktop background color of windows 7 pe

I want changing desktop background color from blue to black
Trying regedit color . background to triple zero
Change desktop . wallpaper to ""
Adding new key colors . windows set to triple 0
But still no luck
I am editing from windows live on folder by dism mounting
Loading it by hive way
Any idea what is wrong?

Right click on desktop, choose settings, in there should be a backround choice tab/ widget. This is IF the thing is registered, if it isntr then there are plenty of scripts online to kind of talk it into regtistering.

A classic you dont own this thing by Microsoft is to stop you personalising the thing.

Messing with the registry will just get reverted as soon as the regedit is closed. tyring to run it as admin will achievew nothing.

It needs to be registered then rebooted, the right click on desktop shoudl be the path to enlightment or darkness whichever is your schema.
