I am new here but I have belonged to sites such as torrentz.eu, demonoid, piratebay for over 15 years. In all this time I have seen pretty much about 5 reputable entities that post things on such said sites. This being one of the longest standing one of them. I had no idea that this was a website and thought it was a individual. Needless to say I am impressed with the quality uploads over many years never letting profit or hacking opportunities ever cloud the judgement or quality of the releases. Thanks I have used several over the years and if it didnt say one of 5 names I trusted, forget it. Thanks ThumperDC. As for myself, I am a certified automotive technician, I have doing it 32 years professionally. If I can help anyone here with questions about their cars I am happy to do so with no expectation of compensation whatsoever. I FEEL LIKE GIVING BACK TO THOSE THAT GAVE FREELY AS WELL. Thanks Jason

So I was a bit of a gearhead myself, I guess I still am. Raced Formula Ford, a few Formula Atlantic races. Raced sedans, usually invited as a team driver in endurance races, even won one at The Six-Hour at Watkins Glen on the 4th of July weekend in, a believe it or not, Corvette with no top and it rained like a SOB. I was co-driving for a guy who owned a Shell Station where I hung out when I was younger.
Once the money ran out (this was in the late 70's into the 80's the Arab Oil Embargo just about killed auto racing during that time), I moved over to sport bikes. Had a blast with bikes, did very well, gave them up when I was married, racing is a selfish sport.
My best friend at the time, Joe a fellow racer always felt I was much better than I gave myself credit for. The point here is I was a super technical racer. As a result that and a constant lack of money I had to learn how to turn the wrenches on almost everything I drove. This meant rebuilding and tuning motors for race conditions. Something very few have ever learned how to modify and optimise suspension systems to maximize both flexibility in a variety of corner geometries. When I see these guys who slap on a noisy exhaust system and who haven't addressed modifying the fuel system I just laugh when they think they now have a race car. You can smell the unburnt fuel and see all soot being spewed from the diesels, that's lost horsepower. Seems like everyone has forgotten one thing I learned early on, "Lean is Mean". 'Nuff said.

I too am wondering the same, lol. I've been looking for a good forum since DNA is gone off the clearNet. I'm sure there's WAY more experienced programmers than I on here. I self-taught myself Visual Basic 6.0 (back in the day) in the 6th grade. By 7th grade I built my first mail spammer. By 8th grade I built my first password cracker. I'm an only child (just turned 39). I'm a "balls-to-the-wall" or "nothing at all" type of person. All in...or not. I've been out of the game for awhile, but I still have some knowledge. As I stated before, I'm sure there are way more experiened ppl on here, but if anyone has a question, or something or someone I can help....please....feel free to ask! if I can help...I'd be more than happy!
