You know those laptops with a touch screen that can configure themselves as a tablet?
I have an old Inspiron 3147 configured that way only the on-board keyboard only has a few working keys sometimes. I thought it might be a hardware issue but I opened it up and checked all the connections and they looked OK
So here's where it gets interesting. I was out with my GF and some of her friends and found out her BF is having similar problems with her ThinkPad. Now being a fanboy of ThinkPads anyway, she has contacted Microsoft and Lenovo and they have thrown their hands up in the air and shaked their collective heads.
Anybody have a clue what might be taking place? It's obvious that Windows must be stuck in tablet mode. On my Dell, I connected a USB keyboard and it works fine. I am at a loss, any clues?
