I feel Windows 11 did 2 things. It layered a bunch a junk not many users wanted, enforced the security chip which did little more than obsolete systems that otherwise were fine.
So what could you stick on Windows that you couldn't already download and install on your own?
I am keeping an open mind other than the fact I am maintaining a up to date Linux system.

Windows 12 has been on the way since windows 10 was released, I still want to know what happened to Windows 9, 8.1 sucked so 9 must have been even worse.

Ive been messing with Linux for the last few weeks to see what if anything it is good for. Its fast, no denying that , it doesnt use a million ghost programs to run, Most of the software I have seen on there to mimic Windows works, reasonably well. Gaming is another story although there are some houses that do well on Linux. Setting up is a lot more involved if you arent happy with the defaults.

As for Windows XII I have heard little over the past 2 moths, maybe due to holidays, but I have heard the release date (Proposed) will be in line with the current 24 month reload of windows schedule. But we all know what MS schedules are for, the joy of investors. Its been relatively quiet on the developer net, there is a however a light on the Horizon, it will soon be Graduation day for all those wonderous new Computer Science stars, erm I mean MS new employee programmers, learned to do powerpoint now lets see you make the program.
